A Kind of West Balt

I am curious about the Prussians and Prussia.

I'll begin to write out things that I think about those people and that place below. Please feel free to enlighten me where I am wrong or to comment as you will.

I think that they might be like Estonians or Latvians, but with a very different recent history.

Not very long ago Prussia disappeared, with the help of Russia, into the lands of Poland and Germany. "Prussia" may sound like Russia, but the two have not seemed to have gotten on well. Some say that Prussians are a kind of Pole or a kind of German. Some say that the German State began in Prussia. That may be true, and  many Prussians have spoken Polish and German; however, right now I believe that a Prussian is neither a Pole nor  German.

Bursa

I believe that from about 228BC-182BC that in Bithynia on the Black Sea there was a king call Prusias the 1st. I believe that his seat was in what is now the city of Bursa (Broussa, Cius) in northwest Turkey.
Could the name of this king relate in any historic way to the State of Prussia?

Jablon, Lutenberg, Litzburg

My maternal great grandparents left Prussia (Litzburg, Lutenberg, Jablon) in about 1887. Their immigration papers listed Poland/Grtmany as their birth countries. I believe that they both came from Catholic families. Both could read and write, but neither spoke English at the time of their immigration to the U.S. I suspect that they both spoke German and Polish.

My maternal great gradfather's name was Theodore Danielewski/Daniels and his father was Frank Daniels.

My maternal great grandmother's  maiden name was Hellena Miller and her mother was a Zgozelski or Goczwelski.

Please tell me whatever you may know of the probable happenings in or around Litzburg, Jablon, and Lutenberg between about 1850 and 1900. Of course I will be very pleased to hear anything which you may tell me related to these great grandparents of mine.

I believe that they left Prussia just about at the same time the railroads were being nationalized.
