What Were They Thinking

I was siting at the table close to the glass door leading to the patio, breaking my fast on a nice potato and egg thing I make in the microwave, when two young, but full-grown, bushy tailed, grey ground squirrels came into the patio.

In turn, each came up to the glass door, stood on its hind legs, looked me in the eye, and then headed into the canopy of my little patio tree. They rustled around a bit there and then one left. I came to the computer to type this.

Wild Flowers

There have been so may wild flowers around my yard for so long that I am beginning to feel that the way of the world is to be always surrounded by beautiful flowers.

There are also cottontail rabbits, desert iguanas, cactus wren, chipmunks, bushy-tailed, grey ground squirrel, and dove in my tiny yard.
A number of other birds visit from time time, including great ravens.

Patio

I see bushy-tailed grey ground squirrels, bold little chipmunks, and handsome desert iguanas visiting the verbena in my cozy patio area.
