It Starts With Algae

 I have been eating the algae products for two decades because the have helped me. I sometimes think of the algae as a food so complete that it fills nutritional gaps that other foods leave in my diet.


As a food potatoes have done me much good, but dollar for dollar the algae has done me more good. I am not the only one who calls the algae a supper food. For a brief time in my younger days I even called Omega Sun, green cocaine.


Longtime users of the products have called themselves  algae eaters. 


Some experts have called the algae a special kind of blue-green algae. It has always looked just plain green to me. In the Lake it seems clearly green. Sometimes looking at it in a capsule the green may seem to take on a slight bluish hue.


These days some experts are calling it a micro-algae. It is pretty small. Small and pretty. When I have looked a it in the Lake I could plainly see its nice green form without using my glasses. So, why micro?
