The following quote comes to me from the sno.
Here are some rules to think about
You have the tools to check them out.
A thing is not its given name.
There're no two things that are the same
Not even one thing stays the same.
If what I see isn't all there is
Then what I know may not be so.
If what you see is not my view
How can we know which view is true?
(to abstract is an act applied to language)
"As I See It Today" could be the title of this new iteration of my main blog. The "It" would then be the following themes with which I intend to deal here: ~ history ~ politics, economics, government ~ family tree ~ people, places, ~ culture, society ~ dialogue and a bit of me

School of the Natural Order - Official Site
School of the Natural Order - Official Site
Vitvan is dead, but his teachings are not.
His writings are for a student; they are not easy.
There are understding people at Home Farm who can empathise with a with a student.
There are people who support the daily birth of the School of the Natural Order.
I feel a joyous gratitude for the teachings, the student, and the people who understand and support.
What' it all about? Everything.
Does it help to know that the learning is often about a process of love and reality.

You Talk
Copied from a piece of 2003 SNO literature:
As you live and breathe, you cannot not communicate. You talk to yourself - your most enchanted listener. You also talk with others; they talk with you. What we say to each other and how we say it can have profound effects - both enchanting and disenchanting - on our personal and professional lives and in the larger sphere of social, political, and international relations. Can we learn to communicate more consciously and with greater responsibility? What will such consciousness and responsibility consist of?

Simplifying Life
Maybe on my recently added experimental description/mission statement page, I should have added "simplify life." Then again 'simplify' is more my personal mission and 'associate' is more the mission of the blog.
Recently and important part of trying to simplify my life has been the process of ridding things from my life. While engaged in that process I came upon a small stack of 'newsletters' from the School of the Natural Order, SNO. The school at the works of it's founder, Vitvan, may be found on the www. The purpose of the School is not
to SNO you, but is rather to feel an inner freshness as of new fallen snow.
Anyway, in one of those newsletters, I found a translation of a poem by some dead taoistic writer. The poem was provided by Val Taylor, who could prove to be your first human contact, if you choose to find out more about the School.
I'll probably say something more about the nature of the poem in a future post.
