Dialoguers

Dialoguers tend to agree that they need to listen well and not exclude anything. However the whole is too much and they can't listen yo everything. There is no way that thought can hold the whole. It is the nature of our thinking to abstract, limit, and define.

Dialoguers can't comprehend the absolute truth either. Still, they value the idea of truth and reality highly.

Dialoguers realize that it is useful to keep their demands on dialogue very small.

They find it useful to remember that no individual dialoguer is an authority. Not one of them is the teacher of the the group or a father to a group.

Some dialoguers tend to forget that as dialoguers they have no ppurpose or agenda, no goal or set destination except to better understand and appreciate each others opinions. They don't want to accomplish anything. The tend to find it easier to remember than nobody has to agree on anything.

They do intend to hear as many of the opinions offered as they can. They find that listening to all the opinions brings them together. They try to listen to all the opinuions and try to understand those opinions. They are meeting one another in that they are each putting a number of their cards on the table and they are all looking them over.

They don't have to make any decisions.

Many of them might say that their purpose is to communicate coherently and honestly. To that end they give each other space to talk. They learn to give each other space to be heard.

The Smallest Improvement

~ I am the creator of my own life conditions today.
~ I tell myself the truth today.
~ I meditate upon the matter at hand here.
~ I propose to consider the nature of a persistent problem of mine here and now.
~ I am ready to learn to be fit and trim here.
~ I am ready to learn to improve the condition of my body here.
~ I am ready and willing to learn to describe a satisfying way of using this talent here.
~ I intend to come to a fuller understanding of the law of cause and effect right now.
~ I am ready, willing, and able to better see cause and effect working in my life here and now.
~ I am ready to learn that I am unable to impart my own highest understanding today.
~ I don't feel hurried to finish today.
~ I am willing to tell something of that which I know of the law today.
~ I am ready to learn to begin promptly today.
~ I am ready to learn to be a bit more alert toady.
~ I propose to learn to express myself more clearly this week.

Zoroaster Continued

Zoroaster seems to consider spirit, holy spirit he might say, to be intelligent energy focused on truth. What a great man in good mind. The good mind may approach truth. The good mind, Z might say, may divine and discriminate the false, the less true, the more true, and approach reality. The Spirit, the Supreme Being, Mazda, is considered as the father of good thought, creator of truth and right.


It looks to me that Zoroaster believed that truth is helpful and beneficial to all who live. Good mind instructs one to love the truth. Truth leads to wisdom and to that which is best. I think that Zoroaster taught that the  good mind moved on toward the blessings of reality.


The closest one can get to the exact words of Z may be through he Gathas, the Yasna of the Avesta in which the Supreme Being is called Ahura Mazda.


Sraosha was a name for hearkening, for hearing the truth, and acting in accord with the truth,  and came to be considered a messenger of God. It seems that in teaching his disciples, Zoroaster said that the Sraosha came to him with the good mind. Thus he claims to be bringing them the best of the good mind with the help of God. What a good man!


I believe that Zoroaster asked his disciples to be responsible for their belief and for the truth in their lives. For himself and for them he asked for a good mind based in reality. He asked for action based in order and justice. He asked that they ponder well over things and to weigh his words with care and clear thought.


Please help me to correct my errors. Please help me to clarify this writing.

Zoroaster

He seems to have shown and taught men a path to freedom of moral choice. But what do I know. Still, I have have heard that he believed and taught that good deeds generally proceed from good intentions, and that seems right. He suggests to me that the great value in a great religion is its morality. Still I have known religious men who knew right from wrong, and chose wrong. He suggests that an important value in a religion is that it uphold a man in his good thoughts, good words, and good deeds. I go along with that today.

Zoroaster seems to value man's inward relationship with truth. Zoroaster seems a wise and holy man and I go along with him in this too.

Why the Lies

 Why do we lie about our war making laws?
Why do we lie about our imprisonment laws?
Why do we lie about our legal system?
Why do we lie about our support of our Bill of Rights?
Why do we lie about our freedom?
Why can't we speak the truth about our agreements with each other?
Why all the lies?
Why this fear of honesty?
