I have had a pulmonary embolism and a series of mini-strokes. Doctors in Uruguay, Thailand, and Ecuador have suggested that I be treated for thrombosis. I haven't been able to interest a doctor in the U.S. Then, I haven't, in over half a century, been able to find a U.S. doctor I have been able to interest in my medical/health history.

Capable
My health is still on my mind. There seems to be enough of my mind left to carry on. Seems 16 hours in bed gives me about 4 hours of mental functioning. I am still physically exauhsted most of the time.,
It seems my travel days are truely over. I have energy for very little.
My plans for now are to head to Guayquil by air tomorrow. There I will get a flight to Bogota. In Bogota I´ll try to get a flight to LA as soon as I can. In LA, if I feel capable, I´ll get a rental car to Yucca Valley. If I am feeling too ill, I`ll try to get a flight to Palm Springs and chech into the hospital there.
Seems I have probably had at least three mini-strokes. Had about two days of speach problems and flutteing hands.
Time to adapt to a pretty big life change.

A New Life
I am willing to accept the fact that I have almost certainly had something like a stroke here.
Maybe two on this trip.
I now have changes which can be note by a close observer. My speach has been effected, I walk a bit differntly, feel a difference in my thought, and more. Get over excited more easily.
I can still take care of business, but imperfectly. Lost my pants today.
Looking back I suspect that I may have had a little string of.
Tomorrow I`ll pick up biopsy analysis sand see my surgen.
The next day I`ll begin to arrange flight plans. Can`t do it with one hand behind my back any more.
