Republicans and Democrats

We'd be better off if Republicans better understood Democrats and Democrats better understood Republicans.
There are people who say, "Oh, I understand them alright." and they do, at certain levels. However, many impasses can become passes when deeper assumptions are better understood. Good dialogue is one way to get to that understanding.
