"what Does History Have To Say About Beer?"

I said that history doesn't say anything, but that humans do talk and write about the past a lot.

For example:
~ I heard that some years back a clay tablet was found in Iraq that dated back to a Babylonian time of about 4300 BC and detailed a recipe for making beer.
~ Egyptian texts dating back to 1600 BC contained over 100 medical prescriptions calling for beer as an ingredient.
~ The prohibition of beer drinking in the United States ended in 1933 AD.
~ My neighbor had two beers yesterday.
